Keep Moving...

Paul knows a thing or two about being hard pressed, perplexed, and persecuted. He was a wanted, hunted man because of all that he was doing for Jesus. Paul lived a hard life loving God, serving HIM with all his heart. He was devoted to the cause of Christ and suffered much. Yet we see the victory of Jesus in Paul’s life. Paul was not crushed, not in despair, not forsaken, not destroyed!

When we get into tough times we may want to stop and seek the safety of isolation or withdrawing from serving God and others. Let’s follow Paul’s example. He knew the power and victory of Jesus in his life because he was continually in situations where only the power and victory of Jesus could meet his needs. That’s faith. That’s trust. That’s obedience and pleasing God.

As we enter into the holiday season, many will feel negative emotions. We may not be persecuted but we may feel pressure and stress. Remember this lesson from Paul. Trust God, keep our eyes on Him and His promises. We will not be crushed by our stress. Like Paul, we can still serve God with our whole heart. He is the only one that can and will meet all our needs. He is our precious and loving Father.

Don’t give up. Don’t give in to the lies of the enemy. God loves you and will never forsake you. Keep moving forward. ♥️
